Whatever species you like to fish for, Pensacola Bay pretty much has it. Pensacola Pass holds a wide variety of fish from Spanish Mackerel, Redfish, Skipjacks, Jack Crevel, Sheepshead, and Speckled Trout.  Depending upon what time of year it is, there is always fish there to catch. If the wind is up and the pass is rough we will head into Big Lagoon on the Flats or up along the ICW back in residential canals and inlets in search of big Trout or schooling Redfish. BAY TRIPS

With only a 20 - 40 minute boat ride out to one of many wrecks off the coast of Pensacola, Capt. John will provide the best fishing experience possible. I will only go offshore on calm days due to the style of my boat, but if we get out and it gets rough, you don't have to worry about getting seasick, because my boat will get us back quickly and safely to calmer waters. At the end of the trip, your back won't be sore from the bumpy ride, but it maybe achy from all the fish you catch. GULF TRIPS

I provide:  ALL TACKLE, (you are welcome to bring your own). You don't need a fishing license; I provide it for you. I also have a cooler with ice and bait when necessary.  I look forward to showing you our fishery and watching you reel in that fish of  lifetime !

My Tackle:

I use top of the line rods and reels by: Quantum and Berkley  products available. I use artificial and live bait, depending on what's working best.

What you need to bring:  

A hat, good polarized sunglasses, appropriate clothing for the weather, 

(layers during cold weather), sunscreen, your own drinks and lunch.

Parties over 5:  

If you have a party over five, I can arrange boats with other captains. For instance, if you have a party of 12 or more, we might split them up on 3 different boats. The captains fish the same area, so that the parties can watch each other fish and challenge each other to be the top angler!
